Commentary
Wheat Extends Weakness on Black Sea Pressure -
The wheat complex was under pressure on Tuesday. Chicago SRW futures were down 5 to 6 cents in the front months. Kansas City HRW contracts closed 8 Soybeans Slip on Tuesday -Soybean futures were mixed at the close, with front months down 4 to 6 cents and some new crop contracts firm. CmdtyView’s national front month Cotton Weaker on Tuesday -Cotton futures saw some weakness on Tuesday with contracts as much at 28 points lower in the nearbys. The outside factors were supportive, albeit Cattle Come Back to Close Mixed -Live cattle futures settled the Tuesday session with contracts 17 to 47 cents higher in the nearbys and lower in some deferres. The cash market has Corn Closes Lower on Tuesday -Corn futures ended the Tuesday session with contracts down 2 to 7 cents across the nearbys, as pressure came from wheat and some calming Black Sea Hogs Get Turnaround Tuesday Pop -Lean hog futures closed the Tuesday session with contracts up 45 to 95 cents.
